Terry Dickson is a very experienced commercial real estate solicitor who loves to get under the skin of his client’s interests/businesses to be able to best tailor his skills to their needs. His clients range from one-off buyers/tenants to SMEs, corporate and individual property investors, overseas investors, SIPP and SSAS pension schemes, shopping centres, office and retail landlords and occupiers.
Currently working on projects such as a multi-million pound agreement for lease and lease in the leisure sector, SSAS purchases for clients acquiring office space and additional space for rental income purposes and a million pound retail property subject to a lease to a well know high street tenant covenant.
Terry particularly enjoys investor purchases of multi-let office/industrial premises for rental income and subsequently managing the asset for the client. He also enjoys working with insolvency/restructuring professionals in disposing of property assets and finally, disposing of clients’ property assets via auction.

Terry's Experience
- Advised a client and his SSAS on a joint venture purchase (SSAS didn’t have sufficient funds to purchase alone) of a 27 unit industrial estate. Structured the finance and staged buy back options as SSAS assets grew.
- Sold a 12 office unit estate on behalf of a liquidator acting for the lender to secure maximum returns against developer’s debts.
- Advised a client on the acquisition of a lease of properties from a Police & Crime Commisioner (PCC) for 30 residential units intended to be let by the client on behalf of the PCC to serving police officers.
- Acted for a national electrical wholesaler on its acquisition of a light industrial unit for the storage and sale of its products. Included a new build property subject to design and build warranties and EV charger spaces.
- Acting for landlords of large scale shopping centres by way of portfolio management. Includes new lettings, rent deposits, turnover rents, licences for alterations, surrenders, variations to leases, assignments and underlettings.
Terry enjoys playing golf, travelling and loves languages. Speaks Spanish and is trying to develop his knowledge of Italian. Enjoys trying all different restaurants and wines with his wife and friends.
