National consultancy firm Excello Law has launched Preston Law – a boutique firm focused on commercial dispute resolution and insolvency law – which will operate as a trading name of Excello Law, managed by Richard Preston.
Richard Preston, an experienced commercial, insolvency, and dispute resolution lawyer, joined Excello Law as a consultant solicitor in 2020. In 2023, Excello Law supported Richard to establish his own boutique law firm, Preston Law. Preston Law specialises in dispute resolution and insolvency law, acting for businesses, individuals, directors, insolvency practitioners, and funders.
This is the sixth brand introduced by Excello Law as part of their mission to empower experienced lawyers to establish their own law firms, all while benefiting from the regulatory infrastructure and comprehensive back-office services that Excello Law has to offer.
George Bisnought, founder and managing director of Excello Law, commented, “As one of the UK’s most established consultancy law firms, now in our 14th year of operation, we have recognised a common need among start-up law firms. They require the same essential suite of back-office services, encompassing IT, finance, HR, secretarial, and administrative support, as our consultant lawyers operating under the Excello brand. We have had the pleasure of working with Richard for the past three years and we are delighted to support him to grow and develop his practice”
Richard Preston, expressed his enthusiasm about this new chapter, saying, “I saw an exciting opportunity to establish my own brand within the umbrella of Excello Law, inspired by the success stories of other firms like Lowry Legal and 458 Law. Excello Law have provided the complete package of support and regulatory framework to enable me to build Preston Law. Here I have access to a network of 200 plus experienced consultants in different areas of law, including corporate, real estate, and employment, which enables me to provide a complete service for my clients.”
Over the last few years, Excello Law has supported Jayes Collier – a specialist entertainment and creative industries practice; Lowry Legal – a boutique family law firm in Manchester; 458 Law – a corporate firm focusing on e-commerce mergers and acquisitions; and Roberts Law – a specialist debt recovery firm.
