Dispute resolution and commercial litigation lawyer Alex Collett has joined national, new-model law firm Excello Law from Knights Professional Services. Alex trained with Hill Dickinson in Liverpool and Chester and qualified in March 2008. Alex is based in Excello’s Chester office.
She acts for individual, corporate and institutional clients from a wide range of sectors including financial institutions, higher and further education, manufacturing and retail. Alex deals with a broad range of commercial dispute resolution matters with a focus on contractual disputes, defamation, injunctive relief, professional negligence claims, education claims and Consumer Credit Act litigation.
Alex commented on her move: “It is the quality of work at Excello Law that prompted my move. With more than 80 partner-level lawyers working for the firm, there is significant depth and breadth of experience across many specialisms and the referral system for new business is excellent. It’s also of huge benefit to be able to work in a fully agile and flexible environment, yet have an office base too in Chester.”
Joanne Losty, director at Excello Law, said: “Collaborative working is a core value within the firm and our business model actively encourages lawyers to work together, share knowledge and provide the best service to our clients. Alex will be a very valued member of our team.”
