Lewis advises on real estate, commercial contracts, corporate finance and transactional work including mergers, acquisitions and disposals for SME’s. Before qualifying as a lawyer in 1996, Lewis studied physics at Liverpool University and in 1983 spent two years as an Atmosphere Physicist on a base in the Antarctic as part of the British Antarctic Survey Team. He subsequently worked for ICI as a systems analyst and mathematical simulation modeller.
He began his career in law in the early 1990’s and having trained and qualified with Manby Steward in Wolverhampton he subsequently joined Shakespeare Putsman in Birmingham specialising in corporate and commercial law. In 1999 Lewis joined Hacking Ashton and was made partner in 2001. Those that have worked with Lewis have described his work as exemplary and his technical skills and commercial awareness as second to none
When not working Lewis enjoys watching sport (mainly cricket), playing golf, solving cryptic crosswords, reading, politics and economics.
