Excello Law is delighted to announce that marine lawyer Charlotte Gale has joined the firm to launch her marine practice under the brand name of Cargo Law.
Under Charlotte’s leadership, Cargo Law will focus on cargo recovery claims, particularly in soft commodities such as rice, grains, and wheat. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Charlotte Gale is a leading figure in marine law, offering her expertise to insurance companies, traders, and brokers in cases involving loss and damage to cargo during transportation by sea, road, and air.
Charlotte Gale joins Excello Law from Roose+Partners, where she served as a Partner for the past seven years. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Clyde and Co LLP, honing her skills in marine law. Her specialisation includes handling claims related to bills of lading, charterparties, contracts for the sale of goods, and associated insurance policies.
