National new-model firm Excello Law has won the Excellence in Law Management accolade at the prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards 2017.
The category celebrates professional management practice, centred around innovation and change management, which has produced a significant improvement to performance within the highly competitive and ever-changing business environment in which law firms operate.
The judges cited Excello’s pioneering approach to the delivery of new working practices which has seen year on year growth average 30% – developing a sustainable, new-model business that has addressed head on the demand from lawyers for greater flexibility, supported by fully agile working, and clients for improved quality and better value legal services.
George Bisnought, founder and managing director of Excello Law, commented: “We are delighted at the recognition from The Law Society for all our work in developing a successful and sustainable new-model business which has transformed both the way lawyers work, and how legal services are delivered. This is fantastic recognition for the Excello Law team.”
Excello Law has grown in just seven years to a team of over 80 fee-earners. The firm has five UK offices in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Chester, and has also established an office in Sweden, and a partnership with a new model firm in the US. Lawyers enjoy complete freedom to work when, where and how they choose – a working practice that was recognised in 2016 with the award of The Lawyer’s ‘Best Agile Working Initiative.”
