Excello Law has been shortlisted in the Business Growth Award as part of the Modern Law Awards 2023, while Manchester-based family law practice Lowry Legal, a trading name of Excello, has been shortlisted in the small Boutique Law Firm category.
Excello has enjoyed an unprecedented period of growth post-pandemic growing our lawyer base to nearly 200 consultant lawyers with a focus on quality not quantity of lawyers. Our central support team has increased by 25%, we have opened or expanded four new regional offices (bringing our national network to 10 locations) and launched our Excello Wellbeing programme. Our recent acquisition of My Business Counsel was the largest consolidation in the consultancy market expanding our team across London and the Midlands.
Lowry Legal was established in 2021 as a modern, progressive family law practice supporting clients in Manchester and Leeds. With an increasing profile across the region, it is one of four boutique brands that Excello supports, helping them to establish their presence in the market with comprehensive back-office support and a regulatory infrastructure.
George Bisnought, managing director of Excello Law, said: “As one of the longest-established consultancy law firms, we have built a successful and sustainable business offering a supportive and welcoming home for consultant lawyers. We are delighted to be recognised in two categories in the Modern Law Awards at this exciting time in our ambitious journey, and send our congratulations to all those shortlisted.”
The Access Legal Modern Law Awards were first launched with the ambition of identifying and celebrating the very greatest talent and success stories in the UK legal sector. Now in their ninth year, the awards showcase and set the benchmarks for best practice in the ever diverse, challenging and exciting landscape of law.
