This year, we proudly celebrate ten years of Excello Law in Liverpool. In autumn 2014, we made a bold move, opening our first regional office at One Derby Square. This decision marked a turning point for Excello Law in the North West.
Heather Summers and Peter McHugh were the first to join the Liverpool office, bringing expertise and entrepreneurial spirit. Alongside Heather’s paralegal, Lisa Sharkey—still with us today—they laid the foundations of our success. Later that year, Tom Sutcliffe joined, strengthening our corporate expertise. In 2015, we welcomed Julie Mogan, now Regional Director for the North West, who has been instrumental in our growth, including the opening of our Chester office in 2017.
Looking back, establishing a regional office was a pivotal step. At a time when others were moving virtual, we chose to open a city-centre office, providing lawyers with the freedom to work flexibly and clients access to some of the UK’s best lawyers. This approach has driven our expansion, with Liverpool at the heart of our North West growth, joined by Chester and Manchester. Today, we have 50 talented lawyers in the region, offering a wide range of expertise.
As we reflect on the past decade, I’m proud of our team’s achievements and excited about the future. Excello Law continues to lead the way in transforming legal services, balancing flexibility for lawyers with exceptional value for clients.
