Barney joins Excello Law after a notable 20-year tenure at Sherrards, where he served as a partner specialising in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Barney’s extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of commercial disputes, with particular niches in the recruitment and franchising sectors. His specialisms include business protection injunction work involving restrictive covenants, confidential information cases, freezing injunctions, franchising disputes, civil fraud, and debt-related matters. He has represented clients in numerous high-profile cases before the High Court, Commercial Court, Court of Appeal, House of Lords, and The Supreme Court.
Barney is highly regarded in the legal community, consistently earning accolades in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, including being named a “Next Generation Partner” for the past four years.
