Johnny Lyons has numerous years of personal and corporate insolvency matters including bankruptcies, liquidations and administrations.
He has acted for an Insolvency Practitioner in his capacity as Trustee in Bankruptcy and Liquidator and in complex Regulatory matters.
He has experience in many fields including commercial disputes in the Chancery Courts, Judicial Reviews in the Administrative Court, dispute resolution and ADR and a case which went up to the UK Supreme Court.

- Acted as in-house Solicitor on behalf of an Insolvency Practitioner in various matter including but not limited to:
- A complex and lengthy Regulatory matter
- Acted for an IP in his capacity as Trustee in Bankruptcy in proceedings against a bankrupt involving transactions at undervalue and preference payments which included a forensic examination of the bankrupt’s financial affairs.
- Experienced in dealing with complex arguments about legal professional privilege

Johnny Lyons is very involved with his 6 grandchildren who all live locally. He is a very keen golfer and member of two golf clubs. Johnny is a staunch supporter of Manchester City FC, following them throughout the UK and across Europe.
