London commercial law firm Dorman Joseph Wachtel has merged with national, new-model firm Excello Law. Based in Aldgate, with a focus on commercial property, litigation, corporate and employment law services, the merger will see partners Michael Wachtel and Paul Joseph, supported by colleague Edward Friend, bring additional strength and experience to the Excello Law property and corporate teams.
Michael has significant experience in a broad range of corporate, banking, commercial and employment matters and transactions for private and public companies, entrepreneurs and individuals. He has worked for over 25 years with Paul who is an experienced commercial litigator focusing on leasehold enfranchisement and residential service charge disputes and other property related litigation.
Edward is a commercial and high-value residential property lawyer acting for investors, developers and builders, local authorities, government-backed agencies, professional firms and many commercial clients.
Commenting on the merger with Excello Law, Michael said: “We are delighted to have merged with the forward-thinking and innovative Excello Law whose infrastructure and support will benefit our clients and enable us to offer and provide legal services to them through the additional expertise of their specialists in other disciplines not previously covered by us.”
George Bisnought, founder and MD of Excello, commented: ”Michael, Paul and Edward enjoy a first-class reputation as experienced corporate, litigation and property specialists, and we are delighted to welcome them to Excello Law. A key factor in their decision was our experience of supporting team moves, giving them the freedom to expand their business with the backing and infrastructure of Excello Law, while offering additional expertise to their clients from across the breadth of our commercial, private client and family specialists.”
