With over 26 years of experience as a Privacy and Data Protection lawyer, Paula brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished background as a regulatory prosecutor.
Throughout her career, Paula has provided invaluable counsel to clients from various industries on matters concerning data protection and freedom of information law. Her diverse practice encompasses areas such as data breach response, ICO regulatory action, strategic management of complex Subject Access Requests (SARs) and FOI–requests, data sharing, audits, direct marketing, policy and privacy notice drafting, drafting data protection clauses in commercial agreements, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Data Transfer Impact Assessments (DTIAs).
She also advises on privacy within the metaverse, online tracking, AI, biometrics, ANPR, cookie notices; targeting and profiling of individuals. she develops bespoke training for her clients and is an experienced speaker and trainer.
In addition to her role as Partner at Excello Law, Paula is a founder and Director of Content at Tenjin, an innovative digital data protection training platform and consultancy that represents the next generation of data protection education. Paula’s previous experience includes positions as Partner and Head of Information Law at Stone King LLP and Director of The Information Law Practice, as well as Consultant at Pinsents.
