Michaela Story

Michaela studied law at the University of Kent with a further year at the University of Hong Kong and has worked in real estate law since graduating in 2012.

Michaela has a wide range of real estate experience, including residential & commercial development, real estate finance, commercial sales & purchases, landlord & tenant work and conveyancing. Michaela acts for national and regional developers, bridging finance companies, property investors and landlords, and receivers and administrators.

Experience:

• Acting on the site set-up and plot sales of a 39 unit residential development, including all statutory deeds and consents along with management company incorporation.
• Acting on a £17.5 million refinance of a portfolio of 5 hotels, having previously been involved in the acquisition of these hotels for the same client.
• Represented a national bridging loan company in a £3.9 million loan secured over a Marks & Spencer shopping centre location.
• Acting on a £9 million portfolio sale transaction of 40+ HMO properties to a social housing REIT, including a simultaneous acquisition of over half of the portfolio as a back-to-back transaction.
