Julie advises high growth companies and SME’s. In doing so, Julie brings not only many years of legal experience, but also her personal experience gained in establishing and growing a successful commercial group in a large regional law firm and then leading the start-up and growth of a boutique commercial law firm in Cheshire and Liverpool.

Julie likes to gain a detailed understanding of the fabric and aspirations of each of the businesses and entrepreneurs she represents and to use her experience, as both lawyer and business owner, to help them achieve their goals and maximise business value.

Julie was attracted to Excello Law due to their commitment to client service and to developing meaningful business relationships.

Julie's Experience

Over 25 years’ experience advising PLC’s, SME’s, investors and entrepreneurs on corporate, commercial and strategic  issues including:-

  • Establishing and acting for a National/Award winning franchise company
  • Advising the vendors on their sale of a .com company to a listed company for a value in excess of £25 million
  • Acting for the vendors of a network solution business on the sale to a listed company for a value in excess of £20 million
  • Dealing with a multi-million pound joint venture between a waste disposal company and Plc.
  • Drafting the legal structure and operating arrangements for a multi-million pound chemical plant.

Julie has another career as personal assistant and taxi driver to her teenage sons. When not working at that Julie enjoys watching the Reds at Anfield, lagging behind her dogs around forests and up hills, tasting/drinking wine with friends and the odd spot of gardening.
