Janne Fitzsimmons

I completed my training contract with Olswang in London and have over 20 years’ experience working both in private practice and in house advising on employment, commercial and corporate finance matters. After working for both DWF and Hill Dickinson, I left private practice 10 years ago joining EY Riverview law.

My main areas of expertise are:

Employment

• Advising on a wide range of employment law issues, both contentious and non-contentious, to include discrimination, capability issues, disciplinaries, grievances and managing sickness absence.
• Drafting/reviewing contractual documentation and settlement agreements and advising both employers and employees in relation to employment tribunal proceedings.
• Advising on redundancies, TUPE transfers, reorganisations and exit strategies.
• Providing bespoke training to companies on all areas of employment law with a particular focus on workplace wellbeing issues i.e. mental health and its impact on absenteeism and menopause in the workplace.

Commercial

• Drafting and negotiating global third-party supply agreements to include software licensing, hosted services, SaaS agreements, consultancy agreements, distribution agreements and research and development agreements.
• Advising on a wide range of commercial legal issues to include intellectual property rights, data protection and TUPE provisions within commercial contracts.
