Having made a U – turn from the bar (the professional membership associations for barristers in England and Wales), Daljit qualified as a Solicitor in litigation during 2005 with a top commercial law firm which had branches across the UK.
Daljit has a wide-ranging commercial and chancery practice, with particular specialisms in the fields of contractual disputes, employment litigation (for employers) and insolvency (both corporate and personal for which he received recognition as being a top lawyer by the Legal 500.
With his corporate client following, Daljit has defended multimillion pound businesses. He also has experience representing from Statutory demands to Winding Up Petitions. He is regularly called upon to obtain emergency interim orders / injunctions in relation to restrain creditors from advertising in the Gazette or publishing elsewhere.
Daljit’s pragmatic approach to delivering legal service to professional and lay clients have won him praises from repeat clients over the years. Daljit has held many senior positions both here in the UK and a broad having worked in India and Dubai as an in house counsel. Daljit has over 15 years’ post qualification in representing clients in the County Courts, and in various Tribunals.

- Acted on a professional negligence claim worth in the excess of £2million and with on going litigation matters after a High Court injunction and intervention was issued against Daljit’s client company by the SRA. Daljit was involved in this case from the outset and since the intervention, his client company had faced many legal battles much of which have attracted much media attention having been featured on Trevor McDonald’s show “Tonight”.
- Daljit has experience of litigating a wide range of contractual and other commercial disputes but have a particular interest in Professional Negligence having acted on behalf of a subcontractor. Here Daljit acted on a £14 million claim representing a subcontractor concerning failure to install appropriate fire safety systems. Daljit advised on the presentation of the claim and settlement negotiation.
