Ashok specialises in acting for banks in project financing. He has significant expertise over 20 years in project financings in all sectors in the UK and internationally including renewable energy, rail, roads, defence, hospitals, schools, universities. He has been a partner successively in 3 City of London firms and prior to entering private practice was a senior commercial solicitor at London Transport and in-house solicitor at the GLC and two London Boroughs.

Experience

He has acted for the lead arrangers on the largest schools PFI Project in Scotland, for a £500 million waste to energy project in England, for a bank on a £1.1 billion rolling stock leasing Project and a £1 billion road project; for the mezzanine lenders in one of the largest project financings in North America – the Golden Ears Bridge Project in Vancouver.
