Modern Law Awards shortlist recognition for Excello’s business growth strategy

Excello Law has been shortlisted in the Business Growth strategy award as part of the 2022 Modern Law Awards which showcase and set the benchmarks for best practice in an ever diverse and challenging legal landscape.

The Business Growth award recognises a legal services business that has achieved exceptional growth – in scale, expanding practice areas or geographical coverage – over the last year, at the same time  delivering improvement in client service and profitability.

George Bisnought, managing director, commented: “We recognised that the pandemic would bring opportunities to agile and disruptive law firm models like ours. Lawyers wanting to keep the freedom they had enjoyed during lockdown, and others who had been affected by cost-cutting in the profession, were looking for opportunities and a supportive home.  But they wanted sustainability, transparency and the highest levels of support and facilities.

“Despite the major economic downturn, our strategy during 2021 was to invest in our infrastructure, brand values and team.  We enjoyed an unprecedented year of growth with a 20% increase in turnover on the previous year, a 23% increase in the growth of our team, expansion of our national office facilities to the largest, free to use office network of any of the consultant lawyer firms and significant additions to the legal services offered.
