Excello Law has won the coveted award for ‘Best Agile Working Initiative’ from leading industry publication The Lawyer. The 2016 Business Awards highlight the best operational support, working practices, products and people that are transforming the delivery of services across the legal profession.
Since Excello Law was founded, agile working has been fundamental to keeping overheads low, thereby ensuring competitive pricing for clients, but also giving our lawyers control over how they choose to work and develop their business. The judges praised our focus on putting agility at the heart of everything we do, and for the IT systems, business support services and culture that enable agile working to be so effective.
George Bisnought, founder and managing director of Excello Law, commented: “When I set-up the firm in 2009, I was determined to break new ground in focusing on the needs of clients and lawyers at our heart. Core to our new business model was total agile working – almost unheard of at the time.
“We have worked hard to put in place the systems, business support teams and transition programmes to give our lawyers the flexibility and freedom to choose when, where and how they work. I am proud that we can showcase to the profession the significant benefits that agile working brings to both our lawyers – and our clients.”
In an exciting night, Excello Law was also shortlisted for the Grand Prix award for Business Services Team of the Year – a reflection of the innovative and comprehensive level of support services provided to Excello lawyers.
