Renowned contracts and dispute resolution lawyer Howard Pinkerfield has joined national firm Excello Law. Howard’s legal career spans more than 40 years, during which time he has handled a wide range of business-based work with a core focus on commercial contract negotiation and dispute resolution, both as senior partner of a central London firm, and later leading his boutique consultancy practice.
He has advised many high-profile figures across the worlds of sport, politics, film and industry ranging from negotiating Premier League football management and Formula 1 driving contracts, to the enforcement of significant value competition claims, as well as advising on high profile libel and slander claims. Regulatory representation has extended from pioneer postal services licensing to motorsport tribunals.
Howard’s cases have a history of news media interest. Examples include his representation of Neil and Christine Hamilton in their recovery of substantial damages from Max Clifford for false allegations about them made by the publicist, and his successful resolution for international businessman Julian Donn of claims over his million-Euro world-class show-jumping horse, Locarno.
Howard commented: “I am delighted to be a part of the Excello Law family, and therefore able to offer my clients the benefits that its innovative business model generates. I look forward to a long and successful association with George and his expert team.”
George Bisnought, managing director of Excello Law, said: “Howard has advised on many significant and high-profile cases over the years and we are delighted he has joined Excello Law. His considerable experience will be a great asset to the firm, while our support structure and business model will allow Howard the freedom to focus totally on his clients.”
